February 17, 2023 - 1999 vintage. LH and KH brought this from their cellar and shared this at the Mindi Abair concert. It's a Rutherford vineyard so it goes without saying that it was pretty darn good

Similar to the last bottle. Perfectly fine. Decent balanced wine with fruit still present. Just not up to other Staglin vintages. And definitely not a good value. -

February 5, 2019 - HUGE wine.
Ink-dark color, dark magenta to the rim - no signs of bricking.
Blackberries, ripe plum, leather and notes of wood and cedar on the nose.
Sweet plum, blackberries, ox blood on the palate with sweet black licorice on the finish. Tannins are granular and sweet.
Great wine with a grilled steak. Still has plenty of shelf life.
