  December 30, 2023 - 100% Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon. Very complex. Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, plum, black currant, baking spices and dark chocolate. Nice hint of toasted oak on the long and lingering finish. Totally New World in style. Smooth tannins and excellent mouthfeel. Full bodied and juicy. Tannins have relaxed with bottle age. Quite expressive. High quality.

  April 3, 2021 - Very nice Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, drinking well at nine years. Silky cassis, boysenberry, and chocolate, with a hint of cigar box and a long, elegant finish. A mature wine in great form, with superb years still ahead.

  August 7, 2020 - Intense, well structured, yet very refined. This one has is in a perfect drinking window, but has an least another 3-5 years left if you have some left in the cellar. Keeping my last bottle for 2025.

  November 17, 2018 - This is still a pretty big Sonoma Cab. Easily can stay in the cellar for another 5 to 10 years. Decided to pop it just to see where it was at. Big mouthfeel, tannin structure is still getting sorted out, and a lot of fruit. Hold if you want more complexity!
