October 4, 2017 - Nose of kirsch and twizzlers. Mouth of some green tannins that haven't quite integrated and a nuanced touch of oak. Minimal fruit and hollow midpalate. Shorter finish than I'd like. Seems like there was more Grenache than I was expecting. Still well worth the $18 it cost.

June 12, 2016 - Opened one hour in advance. Aromas of black fruit, garrigue. Sweet, clean berry fruit flavors. Blueberry spice finish. I found the finish to be sweet, just managing to be this side of cloying. Other than that, a true CDR of very good quality. You couldn't ask for more at this price.

October 13, 2015 - This is a delightful young CdRV. Medium bodied at most but blessed with a rare purity of aroma and of strawberry and plum tinged fruit, unusually fresh tangy acidity, minerals and an attractively bitter backbone. A million miles away from some of the unctuously heavy offerings from the region and very moreish. Organic grapes and wine unfiltered. Good++.
