Community Tasting Notes 8

October 12, 2022 - This has not aged well at all. The nose was stewed fruit. Giving Soter the benefit of the doubt here and calling it a defective bottle. Was stored well since purchase on release. There was a pleasant earthiness to the taste, but all was overwhelmed by the stewed fruit. Dumped.

June 15, 2018 - Drunk casually w some other Oregon Pinots. Balanced and not in the thin, cough-syrupy style. Medium body with bright but soft fruit. Compared well to other similarly-priced. Seems to be in prime drinking window.

January 6, 2017 - Moderste color. Earthy, plummy nose. Very smooth though tannins snd acids are a tad prominent. Well integrated flavor profile of plums, raspberries, minersls, and more. Good, long finish. Drinking very well but should be better in sbou two years.
