March 3, 2017 - Still quite dark red with little bricking. Grew in stature in the decanter - rich baked cherries with hints of leather and tar - not super complex but lovely texture and profile. 35 years young ****

September 20, 2015 - Impressively dark color. Clean and complex aromas with Christmas cakes, dried fruit etc. Extremely elegant for a Barbera. Not plagued by oak at all. A great experience!
