October 16, 2019 - Just barely a 90-pointer. I find many Argentine cabs to be rather heavy-handed, and this is one of those. This is very good, but it lacks the finesse, complexity and elegance of a top cab. A bit tiring, and reminiscent of a concentrated malbec. That said, it has strong notes of blackberry and briar, with a distinct sweetness. Note: bottles of this wine have been inconsistent.

December 20, 2016 - At a holiday luncheon, we pnp'd. fruit on nose, berries and cranberry dominate the palate with a touch of Christmas cake. The finish is of moderate length. Overall a good QPR

October 23, 2016 - Bright red berry nose; Cranberry like fruit with earthy notes up front; Some dusty tannins and good acidity on the finish. Lighter, with more red fruit character than typical new world cabernet.

October 15, 2016 - Small tasting sample. Pleasantly surprised at the QPR of this for less than $16. Plenty of big, black, juicy fruit with a huge mouthful of tannins. Give this another 1-2 years and it'll be singing.
