February 24, 2022 - White Burgundy study (2008 and 2014) (Chicago, IL): An incredibly disappointing bottle of Meursault Perrières, completely ruined by the inordinate amount of reduction (to preempt the comments -- par for the course for Dancer, so this isn't atypical nor a flaw) that goes way past matchstick and into rotten eggs territory. The palate has too much acidity and doesn't show much fruit. Green and slightly weedy. Literally, a wine for fans of the style -- there's not much that's readily identifiable as Meursault Perrières here (save your money and get the Corbins instead).

November 23, 2019 - Hmmm. Next to the ‘08 PYCM Batard and ‘13 Fontaine-Gagnard Criots, this shows badly. Thin and very sharp on the palate almost punishing. No idea if it’s just in an awkward stage, couldn’t finish the glass. Not much of a dancer tonight.

September 18, 2018 - Reductive style, smoke, a bit muted on the nose. The palate was unfortunately a bit thin. I have had mixed experience with Dancer’s wine.

September 17, 2018 - Not much on the nose and on the palate quite watery and flat. Bad bottle ?
