Community Tasting Notes 2

January 25, 2024 - Lots of tannins, black cherry & Vanilla. Nice silky mouth feel. Interesting in that this is the second wine from this Vineyard that has a distinctly bitter finish.. Some blackberry jam flavor as well.

September 3, 2016 - Decanted for one hour. Garnet color. Muted nose of red fruit and camphor. Medium bodied palate of sour plums with lively acids and soft tannins. Relatively short finish. Better than most Georgia wines, and definitely better than any of the other dozen or so that were at a Georgia Wine Tasting party, but at $37, this has a poor QPR.
