March 20, 2017 - Light and lively with fragrant red berries and some leathery forest floor. Crunchy fruit has moved on and there is some nice mineral texture on the back palate. Relatively short finish, but very nice delicate style of Pinot.

July 24, 2015 - Fantastic summer pinot with refreshing brambly fruit. Lots of cherry kirsch going on here along with that vaguely brambly/menthol-like blackberry essence, but not the dark depth of blackberry fruit. There is almost a pleasant varnish like quality going on here with a fantastic Black Forest gateaux-like spice that lingers on the tongue and back palate for a while. The intensity is quite remarkable considering this comes from land north of Frankfurt.
