September 28, 2009 - Had with WFO pizzas. Brick red. Can see light through it easily. Browning at the edges. Dark fruit, plum, currant, and earth. Tannins can still stand up. Slightly acidic. Lighter in body than I anticipated, but a nice wine.

Tasted November 4, 2007 at the winery. Garnet color in the glass, slightly dusty looking. Nose of green stems, fertilizer notes with some contrasting potpourri. Flavors of green stems, white pepper and sweet red berries/cherries. Medium acidity, medium tannins, light to medium body. Drink over the short term.
