May 31, 2020 - A mature, exciting, seasoned Zinfandel. It tickle-slaps the palate in a playful dance that invites tasteful dishes to showcase their best while complementing it.

December 21, 2010 - Perhaps a bit past its prime, this wine was still enjoyable. Surprisingly, it had the earthy quality of a syrah for the first hour after being opened.

May 13, 2009 - A really nice effort and drinking extremely well right now. I like the dry, dusty tannins and the subtle brambly qualities. This wine had a bit of a bite at first but after am hour or so and upon finishing on day two, was quite harmonious and balanced. Compared to some of Bella's other Zins, this one is nicely restrained and elegant and the few years in bottle have really made for a super wine.
