January 21, 2024 - Open from the first second this is perfect to drink now I think. Lovely sweet Grenache fruit, full bodied but not overdone; not too complex but solid length. Lacking some freshness. Drink this now. 16.5/20

October 24, 2019 - Vin vert, léger et délicat. Sur le tabac, poivre et violette. Manque de complexité. Vraiment décevant à ce prix.

October 21, 2017 - A blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Cinsaut. 14,5% alcohol.

Moderately translucent ruby color with a faint raisiny hue. Sweet, somewhat restrained and a bit developed nose with some raisiny dried fruit character, peppery Syrah spice, some alcohol, a little bit of blackberry jam, a hint of nutmeg and a touch of sweet oak spice. The wine is ripe, rich and smooth on the palate with quite full body and succulent flavors of ripe blackberries and plums, slightly wizened sweet dark fruits, a little bit of bitter spice and a hint of cherry marmalade. Overall the wine feels pretty hot with rather mellow structure due to its ripe, light-to-medium tannins and modest-to-medium acidity. The finish is quite long and rich with bold, sweet flavors of blackcurrant marmalade, some meaty character, a little bit of strawberry, a hint of sweet, polished oak sheen and a touch of tannic grip.

A ripe, big and glossy wine with a lot of fruit but very little character. It would be easier to get grips with the wine if there were any rough edges left - now the wine just feels so smooth and polished that there is very little to keep you interested. Sure, this is a balanced and very well-made wine, but in our Languedoc-Roussillon-tasting this wine was a pretty indifferent effrot - there were many cheaper and less "impressive" wines that were a lot more interesting because they didn't seem so smooth, bold and modern in style. This is a wine that feels like it is made to impress, which makes it do exactly the opposite. Not really worth the 20€.

September 14, 2017 - A delightful, everyday drinker. Especially for $25 on sale. Very well made. Beautiful red fruits with integrated tannins in balance.

August 9, 2017 - Grosse masse de fruits mais manque de complexité...et à ce prix, on s'attend à pas mal plus.
