June 4, 2018 - After some time in the decanter this wine opened up, blew off a bit of funk and was very enjoyable. Good balance and fruit with some surprising depth. Drink up . Beautiful label and bottle. A fun surprise.

August 7, 2009 - Elegant wine - paired well with bone-in rib-eye. Subtle nuances of a classic Trefethen cabernet still remain, although could be fleeting. I will re-taste within a year to calibrate my concerns.

August 4, 2009 - Aromas of mocha, cherry, cigar box and mint are followed by flavors of chocolate, currant and cherry. The flavors are pure and lush with good integration. This still has enough structure to develop over next 4 to 6 years.
