  February 1, 2020 - With time, this wine has evolved, and this bottle showed darker fruit than I recall, but still maintained a very bright profile with great acid.

  January 7, 2017 - Nose has a very peppery profile, and very tart red fruit with hints of smoke and rubber. On the palate there's rich raspberry, earth, spice. This has a lot going on for the price point!

  July 31, 2016 - The group's and my last place wine in a blind tasting of Spanish mencias: "Do they make wine from celery now?" "I think a rat died in the barrel." "Is is just this bottle or is this just lousy wine?"
  
  Nose of celery salt, according to one wag, but there was a consensus about the celery flavor going on. One drinker it was in the very early stages of being corked.
  
  IAE, no one liked it at all.
