June 6, 2023 - Color/App: deep/dark inky core -> dense ruby rim; medium viscosity. Nose not a patch on the '10 of this wine but still really nice: black fruits (all), charcoal, roasted meat and anisette. Masculine, full-bodied with a Cornas bent to it. Palate of black pepper, game meat, blackberries and black plums and savoury herbs flowing into a very, very long finish. Once again, quite delicious and well done; not quite at the heights of 2010 but very enjoyable now and for at least 5-6 more years.
