May 21, 2019 - It needed at least a couple of hours to even start to open up. A lovely rich and full flavoured wine displaying ripe blackcurrant, dark cherries, cigar box, an earthiness, old wood with supporting spice from the oak. Really good mouthfeel and balance with a nice long finish. A dusty/drying tannin structure. No hurry to drink this, give it some time to evolve.
