March 24, 2020 - Purtroppo l’ultima bottiglia di questo vino highlander, ma anche la più pronta ed espressiva. I toni cambiano rispetto al Pergole e qui il Sangiovese si esprime in modo meno sfacciato, forse più ossuto ma di gran fascino ed energia. Nel complesso l’ho preferito al Pergole Torte.

December 11, 2019 - Treasured for its sentimental value. The wine was in good condition, color gets a bit watery at the edges, Cork was soft. Pleasant but not complex aroma, still decent cherry fruit, unremarkable finish. Clearly on the down curve and near the end of that.
