August 18, 2013 - Not a Riesling expert by any stretch, but interesting to see this show what I believe is some evolution under screw cap. Petrol on the nose with graphite and flinty notes. Definitely a bigger Kabinett with some melon and lemon notes. Big hit of RS, but acidity is enough to keep it from cloying.

August 28, 2009 - Grapefruit, nectarine, steel and slate, with a hint of anise. Simple but quite tasty and refreshing.

July 1, 2009 - Excellant Kabinett, in some years this might be mistaken as a Spatlese. I will be looking for more.

May 17, 2009 - Opened up after about an hour; showing well with some secondary notes of petrol and smoke to go along with broad-shouldered lemony white fruit and minerals. Certainly not complex, but delicious nonetheless.

12/11/2007 (link)(Gunderloch Jean Baptiste Kabinett) Nice nose of those powdered seastones, citrus and some spice. Smells dry but definetly has some nice rich fruit and a good amount of RS on the palate. Stays in balance and has exceptional crunchy minerality. Excellent if on the bigger side of Kabinett.
