May 23, 2020 - Still a little tannic coming out of the bottle, but given some air settled down and was wonderful. Mature on the nose, subtle berries on the palette. Simply a pleasure to drink.

November 29, 2019 - Continues to be an excellent vintage of an excellent wine from Goosecross

August 13, 2016 - This is another of the wines we were tasted on at our visit to the winery. This was certainly one of the favorites of the day, with that dark berry/rich tannin/big juiciness you would expect from Howell. Honestly, one of my favorite Sirahs. Very tasty- would go very well with some lamb or a hamburger. I think this needs a bit of a fattier piece of meat, due to the spice.
