October 10, 2016 - The wine is dark cherry in color with medium+ concentration. On the nose is baking spice, cooked dark fruit, nutmeg, flowers, some oak. On the plate there is heat, stewed dark fruit, spice. It's a little grippey. Tannins are med(+). Body is light, call it medium(-). Acidity is medium. Fruit is med(+). Depth, length, weight, and complexity are minimal, and it doesn't really stand out, but it is solid. 89. At $32, I think it is slightly overpriced.
