July 12, 2021 - Bright cherry fruit transitioning to some rocks and stems (in a good way). Although not as pronounced as many of the '14 Lorings, this one also ends up with a sharp note of acidity that relegates this to being a food wine and not as pleasant before dinner.

April 22, 2016 - Blind tasted. Big and extracted - not typical Pinot and the color fooled me into thinking I was drinking an unusual varietal. But this is what you get from Pinot in such a warm climate. Lots of flavor - berries and perfume on the nose. Palate is sweet and smooth. It's good, but atypical for a Pinot.
