October 25, 2022 - If you like aged wine, you will love this wine at this stage in its life. A moderate amount of sediment and dark garnet with very little browning, the wine is smooth and aromatic, with a lingering sweetness that enhances the long long finish.

July 15, 2022 - Not the best bottle. A bit too ripe on the nose.

February 23, 2022 - Mid to dark red with a little translucent from bottle age, en magnum. Forest floor, a hint of menthol, sweet red fruit - delightful and not OTT. Whilst mature and tertiary and perhaps on a slight downward slope, this was far from gone and provided plenty of interest and enjoyment even if it was not the last word on complexity.

September 4, 2020 - No perfect bottle. A bit too ripe and mature on the nose, however on the palate great.

August 5, 2020 - Still going strong, and delicious. It spoke to me more of cabernet than of Tuscany, but that’s OK when it’s this good. No need to be in a hurry based on this bottle but if I had more (which sadly I don’t), I’d check in again in 5 years or less. Deep and dark, with a slight minty streak here and there. Like many great wines, it paired effortlessly with several of the courses on our tasting menu.
