January 1, 2021 - A summer field, a hint of anise or hemlock on the nose. More herbal than fruity. Light tanin, velvety, round mouthfeel, but with plenty of structure for our pasta dinner.

March 19, 2019 - Has dense berry fruit and classic Napa dust on the nose. On the palate, it is mouth-coating with medium tannins, black currant, blueberry and sweet tobacco that leads into a long finish. Seven years past harvest and it still needed a couple of hours decant to really open up. This one is made for the long-haul but can be enjoyed now.
