May 6, 2021 - Do not decant. More direct, immediate, and forceful than the '14 TdTN Guardiola by its side. Mysterious though too, with carmel and black licorice with dark flowers. Racy but with dark undertones swirling with copper. Great with food.

May 6, 2021 - Delicious wine. Ripe raspberries and herbs. Well integrated now imho. Wish I had more.

March 14, 2021 - Did not keep detailed notes.
Chilled a bit too long. PnP and let sit for several minutes before drinking with dinner of grilled pork tenderloin, farro with mushrooms and a tossed salad. Darker cherry and red fruit notes, well-integrated finer tannin, bright acidity. Continued to improve through dinner. Overall delicious with and after dinner.

March 12, 2021 - PnP. Very good. In a great spot now, though I get the distinct feeling this will continue to unfold, with more complexity, etc. Seems like early days, so if you've got a few, I'd hold. If you've got several, you really should see where this is now. Bright, lovely depth, elegant. A joy. highly recommended+

December 5, 2020 - What a bouquet! It rushed into my senses as I heard the cork pop. Wild raspberries and low campfire on a chilly night, sweet medicinal roots, candy petals. Beautifully Etna. The palate attacks with surprising spice, but it's all one big flirt. Smoked bacon-wrapped melon turns to cherry liquor, to unripe straberry. Things get tart and medicinal on the slithering finish.

That was on opening! will report back.

A few hours in the decanter and the baby fat melted off, giving this a sharper energy i didnt necessarily prefer. Best now-2023.
