March 19, 2017 - Very enjoyable monastrell. Great blackberry depth, but brings the funky complexity that makes this varietal my favorite. Clay, cured meat, dried herbs and it drank well right after opening. I think I liked Tarima Hill old vines at the same price point more, but very happy with this effort.
