  December 15, 2023 - Decanted for an hour. Just a sumptuous blend of black berries, black currants, and red cherry pie. Mineral and tannins in the background. Tonight with thai green curry and turkey thighs. 93/94

  November 10, 2023 - Two hr double decant and tried to drink over an hour. Minimal Dr Crane markers and just didn’t get better. Boozy on the nose and palate with everything else taking a backseat. At 60 min gave up, I’m tired of drinking so so wine.

  December 9, 2022 - First of a recent library purchase direct from the winery. 90 min decant. Good not great. Lovely perfumed nose of white flowers and chocolate. Cedar and earthiness dominated the red and black fruit on the palate. Tannins and oak in check, enough acid to last a few more years. This bottle was ‘off’ compared to my prior bottles. Dr. Crane has ‘markers’ for my palate— this bottle did not hit that group of markers.
