July 20, 2023 - garnet color; pleasant forest rain and cigar box in the nose; healthy dose of heat with stewed tomato paste enhancing a strong backbone of black fruit. Drinking well!

November 20, 2021 - Drank the same vintage about five years ago and this is a great example of successful storage of a not too expensive wine. Tannins have become velvety, fruit is more welcoming. Aromas much more intense with pencil lead, black tea and the dark fruit not even near overripe.
