October 24, 2022 - Slow oxed for 8 hours before serving. Very shut tonight. It needs 3-5 more years to come around in my view.

August 28, 2022 - Burgundy Grand Cru time! 2014 Domaine Ponsot Clos de la Roche, paired with picanha. This wine is slumbering but did deliver tightly coiled cherry fruit and sour cherry with at times a long finish. Some moss or green stem hints which added to the complexity. Decanted for an hour but most open at the 2 hour mark. Keep your bottles. 93 for now….

June 5, 2022 - Decanted for over an hour, then drank over the next hoiur. Well-poised light strawberry fruit with hints of sous bois and caramel. Candied and light bodied. Nose not as pronounced as the palate and overall the wine seems slightly closed. Will hold remaining bottles. 93-94
