January 17, 2021 - drinking well, but still fairly tannic, needs more aging to really develop

November 18, 2018 - Decanted for about an hour prior to pouring at a steak dinner. Heady aromas of earth and dark fruit. As it sat in the glass I got more of the fruit with a finish that suggested chocolate and leather. A really nice bottle, have one more, looking forward to a special occasion for that.

February 16, 2018 - A huge wine, full of fruits and tannins, not as well balanced as some to kalons but still shows off the great fruit and is a great wine

June 14, 2016 - Full bodied, lots of rich red fruits with a bit of tobacco and pencil shavings on the back of the palate. Nice wine.

May 14, 2016 - Still very tight, tannins overpowering the fruit...wait a while to try again. Its going to be very nice if you have the patience
