  January 16, 2022 - nose currant and blueberry, hints of wood, leather. Palate remarkably balanced, with substantial acid supporting good fruit, moderate finish, still some tannin going on. In a very nice place now, has a few years still. Shows a bit of rusticity of appellation. Not a "great" wine in the sense of the classified growths - but right for the region, and mercifully not overdone.

  January 8, 2019 - Lush fruit tempered by a green mineral flecked background. Six years in the bottle puts this in a nice place. Tasted blind it could easily be mistaken for a Washington State Merlot blend at half the price.
  
  Really like this wine as an everyday drinker.

  August 10, 2018 - One of my favorite wines from Garagiste. The fruit is very bright raspberry with no noticeable wood. I loved it a couple years ago and still do today.
  I am going to drink these early not because I think they will fade soon but because I think the freshness is its best quality.
