March 20, 2018 - What a wonderful wine...and quite the unexpected. Intense and interesting aromas of burnt charcoal, smoke, red fruit, peppers, celery salt... Pretty much the same on the palate but with a beautiful touch of vanilla at the end...medium finish. Light tannins, smooth, umami feeling almost creamy...quite charming. Absolutely delicious! Ready...drink up! 92+

April 18, 2017 - Medium ruby-purple. Austere right-bank herbaceous aromas, on the palate blackberry, blueberry jam, leather, underbrush with a hint of oak. Beautiful balance between medium (13.5%) alcohol, restrained tannin and medium acidity. Lingering focused finish, elegance over power, never overbearing yet always captivating. This wine blew me away, totally unexpected.
