June 2, 2019 - Fantastic by-the-glass offering to finish off a decadent meal. Tasted side by side with the 1964 and clearly the superior offering even to a port initiate like myself: rich caramel, fig, and hazelnut on the nose, segueing into a smooth and round body in the mouth with fully integrated tannin (as would be expected after 50 years!) and a sparkling, borderline effervescent finish.

September 1, 2018 - A great port to finish a terrific meal. Nutty, great mature concentration of fruit with perfect balance and a three minute or more finish.

September 1, 2018 - Best port I’ve ever had. Vintage port on steroids. Figgy, nutty, all dried fruit. Transporting. Finish literally lasted for minutes and will haunt my dreams.
