December 28, 2016 - Phenomenal. Still big. Was more similar to a northern Rhone than a PS. Great wine. Lot of life left.

June 17, 2015 - Medium dark red color, deeply saturated. Spicy oak in the nose, With cow's milk, scorched cherry, black pepper. Low tannin and medium acidity. A little sweet in the mouth but satisfying. Bottle #2 of two.

April 28, 2012 - Epic KW Blind Tasting of 16 of the best wines in the world: 5/16. Impressive ranking for this "ringer" wine which has obviously aged well.

June 7, 2009 - Pleasant, still has some fruit and complexity left. Not sure this is going to improve though, based on my tasting earlier vintages over the last few months

August 10, 2008 - Hard to believe this wine is 20 years old-- still inky dark, tannic and very full bodied. Lots of pepper, leather, slightly smoky. Probably worth giving some more time to see what develops.
