July 8, 2016 - Brownish-purple with a strong aroma of clove and blackberry. Medium body with black cherry and plum on the palate. Not much complexity and a short finish is why I rated this Pinot lower in quality. Way too young. Some bottle aging and perhaps some decanting would help.

January 3, 2016 - Color: deep purple; almost no translucency.
Nose: sweet blackberry preserves.
Flavor: more jam, but slight relative to the nose. Some hickory smoke and dark chocolate as well up front and towards the middle. The finish is smooth but falls somewhat abruptly.
Decent Pinot, through and through, especially given the price. Will likely keep stocked in my cellars in the future.
Update: finished the bottle 2 days after opening and still the nose and flavor were quite agreeable.
