By far the best bottle of the six. Took awhile to open up blueberry pie with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. Absolutely delicious. Loads of baking spice with a medium finish. Delicious wine.

40 day old aged steaks tonight with all the fixings by Britt.

Still standing up proudly. Was delicious with tonight's lamb dinner. At its peak. Maybe another 18 months left in its lifespan. Drink up. Great wine.

Just a great wine. Cellar defender Supreme.
Great with grilled cheese burgers. Case worthy wine for sure. Cheers!

January 1, 2022 - Elyse is a small production producer in the Napa Valley that I don't really know much about, but I bought this because the fruit came from Dry Creek Valley including the Tedelschi ranch. Some or our favourite zins are from DCV (Rafanelli, Talty, Lambert-Bridge, Unti, Ridge Lytton Springs, amongst others), but other than Ridge, it's rare that we see them. Served with NY striploins on NYD. This is the first time I've had this wine and and it opened up beautifully after a decant. It's has everything we look for in a zin: lots of fruit, restrained, spiciness, balancing acidity. Just delicious, great pairing, and could easily age a few more years.

    Rich, deep burgundy in color
Some business and black tea off the nose. Stewed plums
    Unctuous. Dark berry pie.
Wow, this wine is delicious. Back up the truck and load up. First class wine.

    Lambsicle dinner tonight. Worked perfectly.
