July 24, 2023 - Felt closed on the first taste. I did let it sit after in the re-corked bottle (with a vacuvin) for 24 hours and it seems that it did the trick. Dark red color, a bit of blackberries, but mostly the usual roasted game and guarrigue on the palate. A little bit of black pepper as well. Not as fruity as others mentioned in previous reviews but probably due to the time overnight in the bottle. Full body with tannins fully integrated with a medium+ finish. Good stuff, but I prefer the other Bedrock Syrahs over this.

December 29, 2022 - No subtle Syrah here. This wine is intense, with dark fruit and a bit of smoke. This bottle was good, but a bit one (or two) dimensional.

June 12, 2022 - P&P. Definitely not as enjoyable as the Expo1 we had a week earlier. None (or very much less) of the meaty, savory components I loved in Expo1. Expo2 was more fruit forward, almost a stewed component, which makes me wonder if it didn't tolerate the less-than ideal storage it experienced since purchase as well as Expo1. Looking forward to trying Expo3 soon! Flavors of red raspberry fruit, tobacco leaf, vanilla, hints of oak, and milk chocolate on the finish. Drink now - 2027.

June 4, 2022 - Nose was off - not sure if it was storage, but it felt like there was some contamination. Probably a flawed bottle unfortunately.
Palate tasted along my expectations - the nice savory black/blue fruits with bright acidity.
