May 25, 2020 - Now aged to the point where it is quite nicely balanced. Medium garnet hue. Oaky tobacco, black tea, saddle leather, and black cherry notes, with polished tannins. Acidity has had a chance to mellow over time while still providing some structure. Quite happy with the wine but not sure how much longer it will hold up before it begins to degrade.

August 30, 2019 - Cranberry cocktail, hot rock, new leather shoes. Drink with company that appreciates good wine, around a bonfire, while listening to Shakey Graves.
