  July 3, 2013 - A perfectly fine wine, perhaps a bit more polished and less sweet than a typical charity or wedding wine, but it black, blue and red fruits thinned out a bit after mid palate and there isn't any sign it will age particularly well. Nonetheless, a good wine for a good cause.

  June 6, 2010 - Saturday @ Baker's Mill; 6/6/2010-6/7/2010 (Baker's Mill - Appomattox, VA): I was very impressed by the balance of this petite sirah. Very ripe cranberry fruit with combined with roasted mushrooms and brussel sprouts - very interesting nose. The fruit in the wine exhibited a very nice ripeness that was balanced with cooking spices and an acidic finish.

  June 6, 2010 - This was interesting as it was 100% PS and was much more balanced than I expected. On the nose there was red fruit, cherry, currant, a little earth as well. On the palate there was more red cherry, raspberry, dusty chocolate with a little spice. Well made wine.
