June 19, 2021 - After a few years of being backwards and challenging, this has settled into a state of pure comfort-claret satisfaction. The fruit has developed, crimson-cast tones but still plenty of sweet flesh and the tannins are now supple and in the background. Just a totally classic, effortless sipper.

January 18, 2017 - January Wine Group Dinner (Campagna at the Bedford Post Inn): Interesting wine, very earthy, heavy mushroom notes, forest floor, stones, shale some shoe leather too. I think it suffered a bit from being so young and needs to age more to bring out it's full potential.
