March 10, 2024 - Black berries, licorice, well balanced with smooth tannins.
Very Boudreaux-like. Drinking well now, probably at it’s best. -

October 6, 2023 - A solid wine, haunted by its alcohol levels.
No showing of aging on the eye - translucent, cherry red.
First encounter with the alcohol on the nose. Cherries are present, yet clear overtones of petrol suggests the heaviness of the wine.
On the palate a bit more balance - fruit is there, yet again a bit numbed by alcoholic overtones.
? Keep this wine for more years? The structure will undoubtedly allow a cellaring for five years or so. Just what will come out of it ? Fruit will unlikely rebound. Enjoy it while it has its current vitality. -

June 22, 2023 - Drank from half bottle. This is a very nice wine. Still fresh with smooth ans well nearly integrate tannins. Black and red cherry, blackberries, red currants. Some leather and cigar box. Will stay on this level for some more years.

March 26, 2022 - Good stuff. Black berries and licorice. Nice match with spicy lamb patties with sweetish mango/tomato sauce and potatoes .
