  November 24, 2022 - 14%. Dark red. Lifted floral nose, plums and liquorice, hint of strawberry and violets. Firmly structured, acid and tannins in balance. No sign of tertiary notes yet. 2011 was a warm year. Purchased in 2015, stored temperature controlled since. This bottle, at least, had many more years of peak drinking ahead.

  I would suggest a long decant and serving with grilled meat. Definitely not a wine to be drunk on its own.

  July 5, 2020 - Very good Rib del Duero. Deep brooding colour indicates things to come. Lovely inviting nose, good balance and complexity with a blackcurrant finish. Ready now but no rush
