May 18, 2018 - An intense, rich and big wine. Dark fruit flavors. Jammy blackberries and blueberries. Long finish. Big oak influence. A full bodied Zinfandel, that’s for certain.

September 17, 2017 - You know. I kinda want to hate this wine being that the Monte Rosso fruit is owned by a massive corporation and some of my fave zin producers are no longer getting grapes (Bedrock, Carlisle, etc).....but I just can't. It's a really good zinfandel with blue and black briary fruits, ample acidity, and a relatively long finish. A very well made wine from one of the best old vine vineyards in CA. 'Sellin out' has never tasted so good.

February 14, 2017 - Nose has some jammy berries. Pine resin.

Very smooth and balanced. Cherry and strawberry; some blueberry. Complex, long finish. Not too dry. Really greatS

October 29, 2016 - jammy blackberries, strawberries, milk chocolate, late, molasses, oak, white pepper on the nose. Follows through in the flavors with light bite and a lingering dusty, jammy finish.

October 27, 2016 - A zin of outstanding nobility this shows black fruit, licorice, spice, blackberry cobbler though jammy is not a term I'd use, mountain scrub brush, bramble; nice mouthfeel, structure unlike majority of zins out there, acid, glycerin, a large wine but seemingly needs to be this big for amount of richness and power; best wine of night.
