  March 6, 2020 - Continues to evolve and 2021 looks to be a fair drinking up threshold although previous vintages have held up beyond their end date. Terrific value continues to be found in CdR and CdRV and in appelations in close proximity.

  February 22, 2019 - Nothing particularly interesting to say, except that this was and is a great value. Plenty of fruit and a reasonable amount of tannins still there. Should be good for another year or two.

  November 30, 2018 - Good. I still really like this wine. Juicy, medium weight, with herbs and a touch of tar.

  August 13, 2018 - Somewhat muted nose. Decent fruit - mostly black cherries, along with some spiciness. Not as full-bodied as I remembered, but it had an above-average finish. Sneaky tannins that hit on the finish. Tannins suggest that it will last awhile longer, but the fruit and the body have receded significantly. Therefore, I suspect that it's time to drink up.

  February 7, 2018 - Monthly Tasting Group EEE #067: Southern Rhone; Cairanne and Rasteau (By PV): In the bouquet red and dark berries, wine gums and garrigue. On the palate a juicy wine with autumn forest impressions, soft spiciness, sweet licorice, beautiful acidity and soft, friendly tannin.
