February 17, 2024 - Perfect drinking window now. Medium body, nice acid, some red and black fruit and leather notes, good amount of Tertiary notes. Nicely in balance, good wine but wish the wine held on longer.

October 27, 2023 - Just perfect! We waited forever to open our first Dunn based on so many reviews warning it was too young. Wine had a perfect Howell Mountain scent. But despite that strong smell, it was a mellow perfect taste. Hints of tannins, but smooth like the finest satin sheets. Many bottles left - and we won’t wait to drink more!

October 14, 2023 - This is not one of the bruiser Dunn HMs that tackle your tongue and won’t let go. No, it’s relaxed and tannins are subdued and acidity is sound. Majorly fruity and easy to drink with a modicum of flavor variety. Most blackberry and black currant with a bit of black cherry. Mature and enjoyable but you don’t have to think about it while you sip it.

August 19, 2023 - Well, this confirms that my 07 bottle last week was off. Incredibly youthful
In color, dark and bright in the class. Still retaining its fruit and also bringing spices and other layers to it. This is what Napa wine should be. Wish I could have had more time with this wine and see it with more air.

Still showing very young.
Ends up kind of just cab. Focused with nothing secondary.
Wait 5 years for the next one.
