Community Tasting Notes 10

December 2, 2023 - This is absolutely humming right now. Patience pays off. All these Lede’s I’ve had at about 10-12 years are phenomenal.

September 10, 2022 - Good but not as powerful as most Howell Mountain bottles I have tried. Opens with black and blue fruit with secondary notes of white pepper and clove. Nicely balanced, medium body and finish.

March 31, 2022 - Nice balance between fruit and tannins, good length, acidity. Red and black fruits with a bit of bramble, damp earth. Drank well on the PnP

May 28, 2021 - PnP. Aromas of ripe plums, black cherries, dark chocolate, coffee and bark. Palate is rich with chocolate, coffee, dark cherries, earth, bark. Ripe. Big. Viscous. No overt heat or obtrusive oak. Just not my style but can see many really enjoying this.

October 25, 2020 - This is the second bottle. Drinking wonderfully but can still age some to calm down the alcohol and tannins slightly. Complex nose with dark berry. Balanced tannins and fruit at the moment. Even better then the first bottle.
