May 24, 2023 - This wine is drinking beautifully with great freshness and purity and a nose of blackcurrant, garnet plums, tobacco, cedar and charcoal embers. The palate has nicely rich fruit well balanced by savoury elements of earth, tobacco and cedar with a touch of dark chocolate. There is excellent grip and persistence which sums up the overall purity of impact in this wine. Quite a delicious Graves from this great year.

January 29, 2023 - Unfortunately, rather closed in nose and palate. Good color, little browning. Muted aromatics, but not musty.. vinous in nature. Darker fruits: Black cherry, blackberry, plum. Subtle baking spices and tertiary notes of old mahogany, leather. But not expressive. Mild tannins, more round and in the background. Decanted and let air for an hour, but never really opened up. Maybe another couple years? Darn.

La bouche est ronde et juteuse, avec une belle texture, dans un style tout aussi moderne, un peu racoleur.
Je sens trop la présence du bois. Cet aspect s’améliore toutefois après trois heures de carafe et le vin n’est pas asséchant pour autant. Le meilleur verre après 5 heures de carafe! C’est très bien fait, mais pas mon style de Bordeaux. 91 pts
