July 12, 2023 - Deep blackberry and tobacco; layered; long sweet finish.

May 7, 2023 - Dark red fruit, cassis, cedar, some earthy tones, and a hint of beetroot and graphite on the nose. The medium-bodied palate brings in some more graphite and some spices, along with medium acidity. Long finish with somewhat resolved, but still noticeable tannins. In a good spot now, with developed fruit, but still enough frame to carry the package, and everything being pretty well in balance.

July 7, 2021 - Medium garnet with mild bricking
Aromatics medium. Graphite, cedarwood. Some earth ending in plum
Palate with medium body. Acid medium +. Tannins medium +, fine and we'll integrated on teeth and gums. Dark cherry. Blackberry.
    Finish has medium length. Balanced.
Great example of balance in a French wine.
    Drinking well now.

    June 26, 2021 - als Absacker, 1 Glas.
Nach DOM de Chev 2000 erwartungsgemäß schwächer, aber kein großer Abfall
Volle Frucht palette, kraftvoll, nicht unelegant

    2005 Bordeaux Tasting - Blind, Episode #589, 12/3/2008 (link) 87 points

(Chateau Brown) #4; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-tight; beautiful red beet component; little tulip action; also some cranberries, but tight; TASTE-big wine, but very tight; and very limited flavor profile; good density -- I like the texture a lot; very silky & smooth, but just very tight; unmanageable at this time; need to wait and let this open up; really bitter firm tannins on the back-end; a little blackberry mixed w/ bitter raspberries; solid wine, but very tight right now; WS-90; GV-87
