August 2, 2016 - Ripe and fruity, with honeydew melon and quince aromas. Fairly soft acidity to go with the smooth texture and full flavours. Still only 12% abv, perhaps there's a few grams of residual sugar - or is it just the impression of ripeness? Went well with fried chicken breast. Drink now.

February 11, 2016 - A charming late-harvest expression of Melon de Bourgogne, with light buttery/nutty notes and slightly oxidative preserved quince aromas much reminiscent of Chenin Blanc. Dry, somewhat viscous, and intensely flavoured for a 12% white, with ripe medium+ acidity, this left-field muscadet makes for enjoyable drinking right away, with or without food. Lots of pleasure and personality for petty cash.

November 26, 2015 - Deep yellow. Lot of apples and apple vinegar notes masking the mineral backbone. Honest wine, but I prefer more typical, "marine" muscadet.
