  December 17, 2012 - Looks thin in the glass, a bit medicinal and lots of cherry on first taste. I get the earthiness others have noted, and would add mention of a long finish with hints of butterscotch and the bay leaves they mention on the label.

  September 15, 2012 - I had high hopes that my 2004 was still drinkable but to no avail. the smell was of deep dark berries but the alchohol smell was just overpowering. The taste was flat and underwhelming and very acidic with a long harsh finish of alcohol. I have kept this bottle as well as I could in my wine fridge but unfortunately it was past it's prime and undrinkable. .

  January 14, 2012 - This wine has developed earthiness and stink since I last had it, and I like that. I think, overall, this is starting to fade. Fruits less present than last time and I don't expect the earthiness to hang around much longer. Drink now if you got it! This is going to be all dryness soon.

  April 10, 2011 - Nice black cherry, vanilla, and pine aroma's, velvety smooth mouthfeel, with lots of typical Cali Cab flavors, good vanilla and berry fruit, oak, structure and balance. A very nice Cali cab, drinking well now.
