December 1, 2015 - Vibrant red-orange. Floral nose of juicy plums, roses, lavender. Very polished and ripe fruit of dried strawberries, sour cherries, cranberries, rhubarb coupled with sweet red cherries, pomegranate, roses, cola. Incredibly long, with a very smooth, wide, sexy decay. No roasted mushrooms or smoked bacon or caramel like many older style German Pinot Noirs. This is more ripe, more elegant, more light and extremely fine with well judged acid and oak. Like a beautiful red-headed wine princess without make-up but wearing a diamond crown with little red berries dangling from it. Really well done, Bravo.
